Omni La Costa Resort & Spa Carlsbad, Carlsbad

The hotel has beautiful grounds that offer a nice resort feel, but I faced several issues during my stay that impacted my overall experience. The rooms were quite dark and showing signs of wear, which was disappointing. While some staff were helpful, the long wait times for assistance were frustrating. Dining had its ups and downs, with some excellent food but service that seemed to lag at times.

Staying at Omni La Costa was a wonderful experience for my family. The service was exceptional, especially with accommodating our food allergies, and the facilities, particularly the pools, were fantastic for both kids and adults. The rooms, while clean, felt a bit outdated and could use a refresh. Overall, it's a great family-friendly resort, but be prepared that the decor isn't the most modern.

We visited this resort to escape the poor air quality back home, and while the grounds are beautifully landscaped with fun pools for kids, the service left a lot to be desired. I had such a frustrating experience at this hotel. The check-in process was a nightmare, with long waits and a lack of communication about our reservation. The room we received had issues, such as an old hair tie on the floor and cobwebs in the bathroom. While the spa services were decent, the overall cleanliness of the facilities left much to be desired. I really expected more for the price we paid, especially considering the promises made at check-in.
